This 1979 Timex has the in house M108 automatic movement, and is a good size for a vintage piece.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the watch dial we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1979 (serial number shown using our 43x microscope).
CONDITION
The watch is in great cosmetic condition. The bezel, often the first to get knocked, is brilliant and doesn’t look used. The acrylic glass is clean of all but the smallest marks, and the chromed case is as new. The crown has some scratches, and the rubber strap we are told is the original (yet to verify this). The automatic movement is noisy, as all these M108 movements are, as the rotor can hit the case. If this is likely to annoy you then the rotor can be removed, and the watch would revert to a manual winding watch.
