This Seiko 5, model number 6119-8200, is larger than most and has a great bezel to compliment the stunning deep grey dial.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in March 1979.
CONDITION
This particular 5 stands out from the rest. Partly due to the larger case size, and partly due to the bezel. This fluted bezel does have wear on it, but the wear is even and if anything adds to the character of the watch. Like all Seiko 5 models, this has a day date, automatic wind, was waterproof and fitted with a bracelet. The original bracelet had been lost so we have fitted a bracelet from another Seiko, which we have also cleaned in our ultrasonic bath. The deep grey dial is almost flawless and this is shown off with the new acrylic crystal fitted.
