Not only does this Rone watch have the box and papers, but it is still on the original strap!

From the supplied guarantee paperwork and instructions we can accurately date this watch to being sold in December 1979.

It appears that this watch was worn until the strap started to split, and then it was put away.  The case back still has the original protective sticker in place!  That leather strap is marked Rone, but we will fit a new strap before this is sent out as the original can not be trusted to be secure.  The stainless steel screw down case back covers the 17 jewel, FHF ST 96 manual wind movement that is ticking away nicely.  The gold plated case shows very little wear, which will always look worse on our enlarged photos than in real life.  The silvered spun dial is very good, with applied hour markers and dots of lume above each one.  The hands are also lumed and unlike the hour markers these still have a slight glow.  The box is a sprung type similar to older spectacles cases that snap shut.

This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box, papers and our Certificate of Authenticity.
