High end Omega quartz movement

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

We can date this to being made in 1979 from the serial number on the watch movement, or to being sold on 24/01/1981 from the original paperwork.

CONDITION

​Overall the condition is excellent.  The 20 micron gold plate in not showing any wear, and the only sign of any damage is a slight bruise on the bezel  near 9.  The Omega 1337 movement is working perfectly and is great for international travelers – the hour hand is adjusted via the crown in hour steps, making the time zone adjustment a doddle.

37.2mm wide including the crown, 8.8mm thick. Takes a 18mm strap.
