Kelton were the brand that Timex used to sell in France and the Benelux countries, but underneath they are identical.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the dial we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1979.
CONDITION
This Kelton has a divers look and aluminium rotating bezel that will appeal on two levels. Hopefully someone want to buy this watch and wear it as is, but there may be a Timex collector desperate for the non clicking bezel to fit to their own watch. These parts are a press fit, easily lost and impossible to find replacements. We would rather this watch was kept in one piece though, as it is in fine condition. The hooded lugs have just a few marks. but the dial and hands are lovely. The Timex movements are not high end horology, but this is still ticking away nicely and to within a minute or two a day. The rubber strap is new, but could be swapped for a leather strap if preferred.
