This 1978 Timex with chequered flag dial men’s watch is perfect for motor racing fans. Manual wind movement and calendar.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this perfectly to 1978 by the dial number on the original, unrestored dial.
CONDITION
In overall good condition, the chrome case shows a few small marks and slight pitting. The bi directional turning aluminium bezel though is not dented nor rubbed, and the dial and hands are clean and straight. The strap is on a period strap, possibly the original one – Timex watches of this time didn’t sign the strap, but have distinctive squat buckles like this example has.
