HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back, combined with the first generation of the 6309 movement, we can accurately date this watch to being made in May 1978.
CONDITION
The dial is wonderful, both in design and condition. All markers and hands are similarly very good. We have replaced the crystal with a flush fit item to show off the condition of the above. The 6309A movement is working well. The quick set day is in English and Spanish, and has Sunday in red. The stainless steel bracelet is the original – it has a few marks, especially on the links from bracelet to case, but is the full length. It has been cleaned in out ultrasonic bath, so the watch is ready to wear. This movement is automatic wind only, as it was designed to be.
