HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1978.
CONDITION
The condition is fantastic. Although the bracelet is integrated with the watch case, the clamp to size the bracelet means you have a full size bracelet if you need it, or smaller to suit. Given the case size of 32mm this is now unisex, although it was designed to be a mans watch. It is difficult to fault to condition in any way, as the photos and videos show. The calibre 1330 was one of Omega’s earlier quartz movements, and this one has the correct sleeve to make it compatible with modern, mercury free cells. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner too, but once you have the sleeve this can be reused. At the time this was one of the finest and most expensive steel watches in Omega’s Constellation range, but as fashions and technology has changed this watch is currently a bargain – to get an Omega in better condition you would need to buy a new one at five or six times this price.
