HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1977.
CONDITION
Unless you can find a 40+ year old watch that has never been out of a factory seal (sealed watches is something that doesn’t date back this far anyway), then you will look for a long time before finding a better example. We don’t know the full history of the watch, but this is as close to new old stock as possible. The movement is Tissot’s calibre 2030, which was co developed with Omega. You can set the our hand separately, ideal for crossing time zones, and you can also advance the hour hand by 24 hours to quick set the date. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner. The bracelet is quite long and our sister website, SpareLinks.com, may have extra links if required. The bracelet hasn’t been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath, as it simply didn’t need to be.
This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
Please see the HD video for more detail. All photos and videos are part of the description and are of the actual watch unless mentioned. We do not photoshop any pictures, and the images are copyright of birthyearwatches.com and should not be used without permission.

From 1st September 2021 we will be planting a tree for every watch we sell, working with the International Tree Foundation (Est 1922) to make this business positive on carbon. By buying anything pre owned you are effectively reusing what already exists, but this takes it further and makes us feel good.
