This 1977 Timex with the racing chequered flag dial is in the early case and has a new strap and crystal.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this to being produced in 1977 from the serial number on the watch dial.
CONDITION
Worn but worn carefully. The plating on the crown is going thin, and on the back too, but there are no major dings. The dial with the orange indexes is particularly clean and attractive. We can not be 100% sure that this watch is either missing a turning bezel, or was designed like this. We have fitted a new strap and acrylic crystal so it is ready to wear.

Approximately 39.2 mm wide including the crown, 10.7 mm thick. Takes a 19 mm strap.
