In as new condition, this watch was bought out to celebrate HM Queen Elizabeth’s Silver Jubilee.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
Possibly the easiest watch we have ever had to date, as it says 1977 on the dial…
CONDITION
As the Queen approaches her Platinum anniversary in 2022, the first major celebration of her long reign was back in June 1977 as you can read about here. A lot of people collect Royal memorabilia. and some of it can be worth significant amounts. This watch is on the cheaper end of the scale though. Condition is very good, looking unworn, but it was never made to the highest of standards. The movement is a manual wind pin pallet EB8481-74, but at least it is the better 17 jewel version. The case is chrome plated and all in very good shape. The leather strap is the original item, but could be swapped for a new strap or a different colour if preferred. Everything is working well, but it is a little stiff to set the hands.
This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
