These early LCD watches now have a serious collectors market, and this Seiko A039-5019 is no different. On the correct bracelet.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this to being produced in October 1977 from the serial number on the watch back.
Used but not abused. The glass is clear but the case has a few marks near the front mounted pushers. The LCD panel has no bleeding, and is very clear. The bracelet is a good length and has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath. All functions work including the light and the loud beep! The push button crown does stick when pressed in, but is easily pulled back out with just a fingernail. The instructions for this watch can be found online here. This is one of the earliest designs of LCD alarm watches ever made.
Approximately 36.3 mm wide including the pushers, 12.3 mm thick. The bracelet will fit wrists up to 210 mm.
