This Memostar alarm watch, made by Sicura who at this point in time owned Breitling, comes complete with box and papers and is in very good condition.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the supplied paperwork we know this watch was sold in 1977.  The seventeen jewel AS1931 movement dates to between 1970 to 1974, and this was a later development of the AS1475 alarm movement used by Bulova, Girard Perregaux, Vulcain and others.

CONDITION

The watch hardly looks worn.  The watch came with a fixo-flex stretch bracelet, which may be original so we will include it with the watch, but we have added a stainless bracelet that more people will prefer.  A leather band could be fitted instead too – the 18mm lug width make this very versatile.  The case has only the smallest of marks, and the alarm movement is functioning perfectly.  The acrylic glass has been polished to remove light scratches.

This watch will be supplied with the original box, instructions and a Certificate of Authenticity.

Operating Instruction:
Wind watch: crown at 4h.
Set time: pull crown at 4h and set time. If you set the time reverse and pass the alarm time, this will be set reverse simultaneously.
