This slim, automatic 1976 Omega de Ville is very clean, with calendar feature, and complete with a 9kt gold case.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the movement we know the movement was made in 1973. However the hallmark is for 1976, so we can date this watch to 1976 when the two components were paired up.
CONDITION
This is a typical long service award watch, in that it doesn’t appear to have been worn for anything but best. The dial is very clean, the case has no dings and the inscription to H. Peart for 25 years service is nicely done. We have polished the crystal, cleaned the case and replaced the leather strap so this watch is good to wear.
