A nice mechanical, hand winding ladies Omega Geneve vintage watch dating from 1976. All original, except the strap which is new.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1976.
CONDITION
At first, and second glance, this watch looks very nice. The dial is clean, the simple two handed movement (an Omega calibre 625) is running well and the hands are easy to read. On the third look you notice that the lug at 4 has some damage to the outside, which is a shame but it is the only real damage to the watch and if you can live with that then you have yourself a bargain. The glass is very good, the crown is signed with the Omega symbol and the new strap is a quality Hirsch leather with gold tone buckle. The 20 micron gold plating on the case has stood up to wear and tear very well. Model reference 511.0508, and you can see this model on Omega’s own website here.
This watch will be supplied with a presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
