This blue dialed Tissonic uses the Rolls Royce of electronic movements, and this is all original.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being in 1975. The Tissonic name was first used in 1974, and was out of production in 1977.
CONDITION
If you are looking for originality then you have it here. The crown, case back, movement, bracelet, clasp and dial are all signed, and the only thing you could say were missing were the box and papers and a link or two from the bracelet. The watch is not mint – there are signs of wear to the unpolished case and bracelet, and the case back, but nothing unexpected. The acrylic crystal has been polished and no reveals the nice blue dial, withthe pattern that is meant to resemble electrical wiring diagrams. The case size and style is similar to the 1969 IWC Da Vinci. The movement is all humming well at 300Hz, and the quick set date change works.
