This Seiko 7006-8110 automatic men’s watch has day date calendar, but the stand out feature is the blue striped dial.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can accurately date this watch to being made in August 1975 from the serial number on the watch back.
CONDITION
The stainless steel case shows some marks from being worn, particularly along the bottom edge but is perfectly presentable. The dial catches the light wonderfully and is very clean, as is the crystal. In some lights the dial looks solid blue, in others the stripes show. The T shaped applied hour markers are also a nice design detail, and the dial also has the mark to show it was made in Seiko’s Daini factory. The automatic only movement is Seiko’s calibre 7006A, which has 19 jewels. The quickset date works perfectly, while the day is in Spanish and can be semi quickset. The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour if preferred. We have included a wrist shot in this case to show that dial in the daylight. Being a squared off case this wears a lot larger than the dimensions suggest.
This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
