A nice men’s automatic winding Seiko 6118-7010, with a faded tobacco brown dial and stainless steel case.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in May 1975.
CONDITION
The watch is very nice. The dial looks great, as do the hands, even under a 12x loupe. The all stainless steel case, with screw on back, does have a couple of marks. The crystal has been polished to remove all scuffs, but there is a slight nibble to the edge of the crystal near three. The automatic only winding 6118A movement (this can not be hand wound) also features a quick set date, making life easier. We have fitted a new leather strap. The squared case also wears a little larger than standard round cases, making this ideal for someone not used to the smaller sizes of vintage watches.
This watch will be supplied with our Certificate of Authenticity.
