A clean men’s Rotary dress watch, which is complete with the original sales paperwork and presentation box.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the supplied paperwork we can accurately date this watch to being sold on 25th December 1975. It is more than likely sold just previously and then gifted on Christmas day.
CONDITION
The watch is powered by an AS1950/51 seventeen jewelled manual wind movement, that is checked and keeping good time. This features a semi quickset date, as shown in the video. Cosmetically there is very little wear or damage to report, as the enlarged photographs show. The dial is especially clean. The leather strap that is fitted is lightly used, but suits so well we have kept it on. If you would prefer a new strap in black or brown this is possible for us to swap free of charge. The drilled lugs on the case make this an easy watch to do strap changes on to change up the look at home too. The box has one hinge broken , but is still very presentable. The guarantee mentions this was warrantied for five years – quite amazing for the time. The jeweller clearly had faith in the watch.
