A fantastic find. This automatic Mido Commander still had the blue plastic coating on the case when it arrived!
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
The nice people at Mido have confirmed that this watch was made in 1975.
CONDITION
We have painstakingly removed the 40+ year old plastic film from the case to reveal the possible reason this wasn’t sold – one tiny mark near the crown, and a small mark on the dial near 4. The case back sticker is still in place, and the protective blue film is still visible underneath this sticker. The rest of the watch is in great condition, including the branded bracelet, and this will probably be the best one in the World. The ETA movement is running nicely and has quick set for both day and date, with the day wheel in French and English.
This watch will be supplied with a presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
