This 1975 Longines has the manual wind L847.4 in house movement, which is very slim. Complete with original box and papers.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this to 1975 from the original watch paperwork and the serial number of the watch movement corresponds to the same year
CONDITION
Good. The 20 micron gold plate is all in good condition, as the enlarged photographs show. The crystal is not marked, and the original Longines crown is still present. Having the original box and papers is a real bonus on a 40 year old watch, as many have been lost or discarded during this time. We are not gemologists, but we suspect the four hour markers are diamonds.
