HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in November 1974.
CONDITION
Sometimes the simple things done well are exactly what is needed. So this watch, with no calendar, and manual winding only could be described as simple but it could also be described as classy. The case and bracelet are both stainless steel, the dial a deep grey colour that Seiko and Rolex do particularly well. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath, and is very long and has the original clasp. The case was originally water resistant, which has helped keep that dial and the hands looking good. The size is very comparable to the Rolex Datejust 36, and this watch does have some of the same feel to it. You could wear it with anything, to anywhere, and it wouldn’t look out of place.
