A 9kt gold presentation Swiss watch from Favre-Leuba, complete with box, hang tag, papers and even the plastic bag!
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the inscription for 25 years service on the case back, and the dated paperwork, we can accurately date this watch to 1974.
CONDITION
This has definitely been saved for best, and has been worn very few times. To have such a complete set is very rare, with the only negative being the plastic branded bag is split down one side. The 17 jewel movement is Favre-Leuba’s famed Twin Power – this has two mainspring barrels instead of the one, giving a longer power reserve (Favre-Leuba quoted 50 hours in between winds when new). The glass and dial are near perfect, but the lug nearest ten might be slightly bent inwards. The leather strap is new. The model number is 80075, as written on the case back, guarantee card and on the rare to find hang tag.
