This automatic Omega Geneve was made in 1973 and sold in 1977, which we have the original papers to prove. Stunning blue dial.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this perfectly to 1973 by the movement serial number. We also have the original paperwork for the watch saying sold date as 5th June 1977, hence you can choose which is more relevant to you.
CONDITION
There are a couple of small marks near the original signed crown, and the signed plexiglass has small nicks at 10 and 4. One slight mark on the case near the crown. However, the rest of the watch is a treat. The blue dial reflects the light in wonderful ways, and contrasting against the white hands makes the watch very easy to read. We have fitted a blue leather strap to enhance the dial colour, but we could fit a black leather strap instead if you wanted to tone this down. This is our favourite Geneve combination.
