Another Tissot Seastar, as we keep selling them as quick as we can list them!  Model reference 41520-10.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1973.

CONDITION

Tissot continue to represent great value for those who want a vintage Swiss watch without the cost of many brands.  This example of the Seastar range has a screw on case back and 10 micron gold plating, which is holding up very well with just the smallest wear on the lug tips visible if looking very closely.  The dial is good but does have some marks around the hour markers and date window.  The movement is a Tissot calibre 2461, a seventeen jewel manual wind in house movement with sweep seconds and calendar.  The calendar can be quick set adjusted by repeatedly pressing the signed crown inwards, a system that Omega and Tissot shared but never really took off.  The quick set can be temperamental and doesn’t always work, as shown on the video, but the watch does change date at midnight.  The movement is keeping good time.  The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour if preferred.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
