A large stainless steel Seiko sports watch, with inner compressor style bezel.  Model reference 6119-6400

From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in November 1973.

The UFO shaped cases on the 6119-6400 models were available in very seventies colours and styles.  You could black, orange or brown dials, and it is very unusual to see a 43mm case on a watch of this period.  Such a large watch for the time usually lead to cases being damaged on doorframes, but while this case has a few light dings they are not serious.  The hardlex glass is good, but does have a few scratches.  The Seiko 6119C automatic wind only movement has quick set day and date, both working well by pressing the crown inwards as shown on the video.  With the crown in the normal position you can adjust the internal bezel, but with a 70m depth rating on the case it isn’t a real divers watch anyway.  This would have originally come on a bracelet, copies of which are available but are not original so we have avoided them.  Instead we picked a new leather strap to compliment the dial and shape.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
