This Ladies Omega Geneve has the manual winding movement and very original.  Model reference 511.0451

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1973.  This was the year the model was launched according to Omega’s own website here.

CONDITION

It can only be original once.  So the only thing that is not original to this watch is the new leather band.  The unrefurbished dial is excellent, as are the hands.  The 20 micron gold plated case is very good and still has a sticker on the case back – possibly the same one from new.  The crown is signed, as is the centre of the crystal with the Ω symbol.  Despite the new strap the original gold plated buckle has been kept too.  The 17 jewel calibre 625 movement is running and setting nicely.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.

Please see the HD video for more detail.  All photos and videos are part of the description and are of the actual watch unless mentioned.  We do not photoshop any pictures, and the images are copyright of birthyearwatches.com and should not be used without permission.
