With a beautiful blue dial, this Omega de Ville rectangular watch should appeal to those whose already have a silver dial round watch and seek variety.  Model reference 111.0101.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1972.

CONDITION

Despite the slender case size, we know for certainty that this was designed as a man’s watch.  If Omega intended it for ladies it would have had a reference number starting 511, and probably a slimmer strap.  The dial is the main feature here, with a clever play of the light and the white hands being very legible.  Both the crown and crystal are the originals, each signed with the Omega logo.  The buckle looks to be a modern replacement though.  The case has some marks and may have been polished in the past.  Inside is Omega’s calibre 625, a 17 jewel manual wind movement which is working well.  The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour or material if preferred.  The watch is signed on the dial, case, movement, crown, crystal and buckle.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
