A larger than average ladies Omega Geneve. Model reference 511.0415.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1972.
CONDITION
With some ladies Omega watches the case diameter can be around 20mm, which while dainty can be difficult to read. With this 26.5mm square case we have seen smaller men’s watches, but Omega’s model code tells us it was always intended to be a ladies watch (the first part of the reference code (511) on Omega watches is useful, as in this case it tells us it is a Ladies watch (5), manual winding without second (1) and not water resistant (1). We can also check this information on this model on Omega’s own website here. The watch has clearly been worn, and there are light marks commensurate with this, but it is overall in good condition. The movement is Omega’s calibre 620, and it is running nicely. The dial has a few sports of dirt, but no damage. The crown and the crystal are both the signed original parts. The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour if preferred.
This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
