This 1971 Timex has the square case and deep red dial, and has been fitted with a period correct punched stainless steel bracelet.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the dial we can accurately date this watch to being produced in 1971.
CONDITION
This model of watch is also available with blue or green dials, and at the time of writing we have all three available. Very much modern in its day, it also looks futuristic now – a hard act to pull off.
The case does have a couple of knocks at 1 and 2, but the all important dial is very good and very easy to read – the white hands providing a high contrast to the deep red dial. The hand winding movement is keeping good time. The strap is something we have added, and we can fit a leather strap if you prefer.
