This 1971 Timex has an unusual barrel shaped case, which houses an in house Timex manual wind movement. A distinctive watch.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the dial we can accurately date this watch to have been produced in 1971.
CONDITION
The watch is in very good shape. The chromed case shows no pitting or lifting of the plate, the silver coloured dial is clean and the watch winds and sets well. The pin pallet movement is keeping good time, and we have fitted a brand new leather strap. Possible the worst damage on the watch is on the stainless steel case back, which has some unusual scratches that we can’t explain. Overall this is a very pleasant watch, which thanks to the unusual case design, will compliment almost any watch collection.
