This 1971 Timex has a clean look, but also the benefit of having both a calendar and automatic winding.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the watch dial we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1971.

CONDITION

The watch is better than the photos suggest.  Blown up on the photos, the plating looks to be worn thin but in real life (and real size) this is not noticeable.  The black hands and sweep seconds not only look good against the golden dial, but are also a sharp contrast to make it easy to read.  The calendar feature has no quick set, and the date sits just to the top of the date window, but it does work.  We have fitted a new strap and a new crystal, so this watch is ready to wear.
