HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this to being made in September 1971, thanks to the serial number on the original case back.
CONDITION
Original but worn. The dial, glass and calendar wheels are all in good condition but the case shows signs of wear, multiple small scratches and a dent at 4 on the bezel. The bracelet is secure, but shows many marks – especially on the end links. It is original to the watch but we would include a new black leather strap with this watch if preferred, as the bracelet shows numerous deep marks and dents and is stretched. The bracelet is a good length at 195 mm including the watch. The inner alarm bezel turns smoothly, and the video shows the alarm ringing. The quick set date is also functioning crisply.
