HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1971.
CONDITION
The movement is Eterna automatic (hence Eterna-Matic) calibre K1543, which has day and date functions – this is why it is called Sevenday. The day wheel is in English and can not be quickset, but the date can be quickset. the movement all works well, including the hack function. The dial is very attractive, and the broad hands easy to read. The acrylic crystal is the original Eterna item, signed in the centre with their five ball bearing logo. The crown is not signed, so may be a later replacement. The bracelet is quite long and our sister website, SpareLinks.com, may have extra links if required. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath.
