A nice dress Tissot Visodate Stylist watch with manual wind movement and a very Seventies brown dial.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this perfectly to 1970 by the serial number on the original movement.
CONDITION
The case on this Visodate has hardly any signs of wear. The crown is the original Tissot marked one. The dial unfortunately does have a mark on the right hand side – a line from the Tissot name to the number three baton. Otherwise it is good and is the original brown, not a faded black. There appears to be very little wear to the 20 micron gold plating on the case at all. Inside is a Tissot 782-1 hand wound movement that is running cleanly and has been adjusted to keep good time. The strap in the photos is an 18mm strap that has been squeezed into a 17mm lug, but if you wanted a new brown 17mm strap then we could fit this. The date is a semi quickset design.
