This Tissot Stylist is a classic Swiss dress watch with a manual wind movement, and tremendous value for money.  Model reference 41-42100.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1970.

CONDITION

This Stylist model is a classic dress watch of excellent proportions, and it is in very clean condition too.  The silver dial has a small scratch near the centre, but is otherwise good, and the black hands do make this very legible.  There is no date complication, so the dial is nicely balanced.  The movement is Tissot’s own, calibre 781-1, which has 17 jewels and is all running nicely.  That is wound via the original signed crown.  The case is 20 micron gold plated, and for 50+ years of wear is excellent – only on very close inspection can you see the very edge of the lugs has some wear.  The Apollo dark brown leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour if preferred.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.

From 1st September 2021 we will be planting a tree for every watch we sell, working with the International Tree Foundation (Est 1922) to make this business positive on carbon.  By buying anything pre owned you are effectively reusing what already exists, but this takes it further and makes us feel good.
