A 1970 Omega Geneve, with the earlier Calibre 601 17 jewel manual wind movement, that has the original Omega bracelet fitted.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the Omega c601 movement we can accurately date this watch to have been made in 1970.

CONDITION

The watch features a stainless steel case and aluminium bezel, that along with the silver dial make this a distinctive piece.   The movement is clean and keeping good time, and collectors tend to prefer these earlier movements over the later 1000 series.  The dial has some dirt marks, and the bezel can turn and we don’t think it should be able to, but the aftermarket crystal is very good and the applied 3D hour markers are in good order and a nice design touch.  The bracelet has some play in it, and the crown is not signed.  This watch is model number 135.0051
