HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1969. You can see more on this model on Omega’s own website here.
CONDITION
When launched in 1967, the Dynamic was different and offered massive choice. You could choose from 5 different movements, 24 different dials, twelve different strap, or two different bracelets. Some people now seek out the rarer colours, but the blue and silver bullseye dial has always been the most popular choice. This one also has the top of the range calibre 752 movement, a 24 jewel automatic with both day and date, which is running well. The one piece case is extremely good, with just one pinhead mark on the left hand side of the case. These Geneve’s can suffer from dings and polishing away the graining, known as radial adoucissage. but this one should disappoint no one. Likewise the dial on these Dynamic models can often have marks on the edge of the dial, but this is great – the lume is a little faded, as is the blue seconds hand, but that is because they are original. The leather strap is new, and has the original Omega buckle fitted to it. The watch is signed on the dial, case, movement, crown, crystal, and buckle.
