A very elegant Omega Chronostop chronograph with rare and sought after Omega bracelet.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this perfectly to 1969 by the serial number on the original movement.
There are signs of wear, with light scratches on the unpolished case. This could be polished out but we prefer to keep the watch original. The watch is sign on the dial, movement, crown and mesh bracelet (Omega number 1120/116, valuable in its own right). The bracelet is full length, and can be adjusted up to approx 200mm wrist width. The dial does have three dots near 8 and 9, which the photos show. The hour and minute hands are original and the orange second hand snaps back to 12 perfectly. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath, so is ready to wear. Thank you to Ian for sending us a scan of his Chronostop brochure.
