The Concept 80 is a collectible automatic vintage watch from Eterna, and if you want one in stunning condition then this is the one for you.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1969.

CONDITION

This watch was bought from a member of the BHI (British Horological Institute) who said he had serviced the watch.  The timegrapher backs this up, with the watch running at -1 second a day.  The watch is in fantastic condition – the dial is faultless, and the case plating is superb.  The bracelet is a new replacement, but we do have the original Eterna signed clasp (albeit with signs of wear).  The crown is signed with the Eterna five ball bearing logo.  Inside is the Eterna 1488K automatic movement, running at 21,600 bph and with the quick set date facility which is operated by pulling the crown outwards.  The triple gold look (golden dial, case and bracelet) isn’t for everyone, but this watch is transformed with a brown leather strap into something more casual.  The case size is generous for a vintage watch, where 34/35 mm is more common.

This watch will be supplied with our Certificate of Authenticity.
