A very fine example of the Breitling Top Time, with a few valuable extras included. Model reference 2007/33.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1969.
CONDITION
The Top Time was a very good seller, so you will find plenty of them for sale despite being 40 plus years old. But this example has several things that make it stand out. First it has the blue reverse panda dial, instead of the more commonly found Silver dial. Some online guides will tell you that the blue dial wasn’t available, but we have fond another example on the Breitling: The Book which was published by Breitling themselves in 2009. This watch also has a service box and cleaning cloth from Breitling, and the case back sticker is from Breitling service centre. We do not have the paper evidence that this was recently serviced, but everything suggests this – including a new Breitling leather strap and modern Breitling buckle. The case is in fine condition, without the wear you sometimes see on the corners of the Top Time models. The Valjoux 7733 manual wind movement is working perfectly, and signed for Breitling Watch Ltd. We doubt you will find a better example currently available for sale.
This watch will be supplied with a Breitling service box, cleaning cloth and our Certificate of Authenticity.
