A solid gold cushion cased Tissot with manual wind movement provides great value for money.

Model reference 46425.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From both the serial number hallmark on the movement and the London hall mark on the inside of the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made and assayed in 1968.

CONDITION

A cushion cased watch wears a little larger than a traditional round watch, simply because the corners of the case take up more wrist space.  It is one of the reasons they are popular – a larger feel but with more comfortable dimensions.  Tissot entrusted the case design and manufacturing to David Shackman and Sons, and the case is stamped with their DS&S makers mark next to the hallmark.  Tissot supplied them with their in house 17 jewel calibre 781-1 manual wind movement to complete the watch, which is still running well.  The dial is excellent, and the case free from dings.  The acrylic glass is new and scratch free.  The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour if preferred.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
