A restored vintage 1968 Omega men’s watch with the in house calibre 601 hand wound movement and mocha coloured dial.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the watch movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1968.
CONDITION
The watch has been restored at some point before we acquired it. The most noticeable difference is the mocha coloured dial which makes this Omega very distinctive. The redial has another advantage – it makes this Omega cheaper than most! Whoever repainted the dial kept the applied Omega logo, thankfully. The sought after stainless steel case is very good, with just light tool marks on the case back. Although it isn’t marked Omega externally, the case back is stamped inside so we know it is a genuine part. The solid c601 movement is keeping good time. We have fitted a new leather strap to compliment the dial.
