A completely original Omega Geneve, even on the original strap, with the bonus of an interesting dial.  Model reference 131.0019

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1968, and the sales paperwork which matches the watch is dated for December 1968 too.

CONDITION

This Geneve has an awful lot going for it.  Inside is the calibre 601, a seventeen jewel beauty that is as photogenic as it is nice to wind.  The case is all in good order, with little wear to the 20 micron gold plating.  This is probably due the fact that this watch has been kept for best, as the original leather strap is still fitted (complete with signed buckle).  The dial is a taupe colour that makes this stands out more than the more average silver dial versions that are more commonly found too.  Even the box is in good order.  Whilst this is not new old stock, it is fantastic to find a 50+ year old watch this original.

This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box, papers and our Certificate of Authenticity.

Please see the HD video for more detail.  All photos and videos are part of the description and are of the actual watch unless mentioned.  We do not photoshop any pictures, and the images are copyright of birthyearwatches.com and should not be used without permission.
