HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1968.
CONDITION
The first thing to notice is the tonneau or barrel shaped case. Made of stainless silver and quite svelte for an automatic, it is not your standard round Constellation. Then you have the linen dial, with black hands for maximum legibility – just the two hands on this model. The lower case wording of automatic looks odd at first, but it is correct for this model. There are some age marks on the dial, but nothing too serious. Inside the case is Omega’s calibre 712, a 24 jewel chronometer rated automatic movement that can also be hand wound via the signed crown. The glue used to hold the crystal in has discoloured over time, which you can see at certain angles. The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour or material if preferred. The watch is signed on the dial, case, movement, and crown.
This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.

From 1st September 2021 we will be planting a tree for every watch we sell, working with the International Tree Foundation (Est 1922) to make this business positive on carbon. By buying anything pre owned you are effectively reusing what already exists, but this takes it further and makes us feel good.
