A 1967 Rolex automatic men’s watch, with scarce and sought after milled bezel.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this perfectly to 1967 by the serial number on the case. The case design is the 1500.
CONDITION
The case shows a few minor signs of wear that can be seen on the photos. Importantly the case does not appear to have been polished at any time. The crown is a Rolex Twinlock one that screws down nicely. The silver sunburst dial is in fabulous condition, correctly marked with the T-SWISS-T writing under 6 to indicate tritium lume. The plexiglass is new and has the correct 2.5x crystal. The Rolex 1570 automatic chronometer rated movement has 26 jewels and is working perfectly. The leather strap has a Rolex buckle on it. This watch has been serviced and is ready to wear. The date wheel has the open 6 font.
We have added a new (non Rolex) rivet style style solid stainless steel bracelet to this watch.
