This small, square men’s 1967 Omega De Ville has a solid gold case yet is still cheaper than gold plated Must de Cartier models!  Model reference 111.5023.

From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1967.  The case was also assayed in 1967.

This is a small watch by modern standards, but square watches do wear larger than round ones and this was always designed to be a men’s watch – if it was designed as a ladies watch the model number would have started 511.  Small it may be, but the condition is excellent.  You have the signed crown that you use to hand wind the omega calibre 620 movement.  That seventeen jewel movement is working well and has the distinct copper colour Omega movements used to have.  The case was made by Omega themselves, denoted by the OWC stamp inside the case back above the London hallmark.  The dial is very clean and the black thin hands are easy to read.   The black Condor leather strap is new.

Note – since taking the photos we have removed the small hair caught near three and polished the tarnish off the case left hand side.  This is clear in the video.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
