This barrel shaped manual wind Longines Flagship watch has a very nice blue dial to set it off even more. Model reference 4016.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1967.
CONDITION
Whilst this Flagship model meets the ‘rules’ of a dress watch, being thin, simple, and of good quality, it still shows that it can also be original. The unusual case shape means it sits wide and low on the wrist. The navy blue dial looks black in some lights, but the white hands and hour markers provide great contrast for easy reading. Inside the case sits the Longines calibre 426, a 17 jewel manual wind movement that will require a wind via the original signed crown before wearing the watch. The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour or material if preferred. The watch is signed on the dial, case, movement, and crown.
