A solid gold ladies Rotary wristwatch, on a solid gold bracelet, with a manual wind movement at a great price.  Model reference 26005

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the London hallmarks on both the inside of the case back and on the clasp we can accurately date this watch to being assayed for 9k gold in 1967.

CONDITION

This diminutive gold ladies Rotary watch is composed from classy components.  The tiny movement is a 21 jewel AS 1777, and it is running excellently.  The inside of the case back is marked with the makers SD, which denotes it was always for Rotary (Sylvian Dreyfuss was the founder of Rotary’s father).  The bracelet has the mark for DS&S, which is David Shackman and Son, who also made cases and bracelets for Omega, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Longines and Rolex too.  The case and the bracelet have a bark effect on them, which not only catches the light nicely but also hides minor desk swirlies.  The lined dial has minor dirt on it, but on such a small dial it is not really visible with the naked eye.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
