The Sportsmatic Seiko’s are always popular, and none more so than the Deluxe models. Model reference 7619-9010.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in April 1966.
CONDITION
The Seiko 5 Sportsmatic range is a great vintage watch, but the Deluxe just adds a little more than the basic range. You get a button set into the case to advance the date quickly, the movement has an increased jewel count (25), and the movement also hacks for precise time setting. The stainless steel case is large for the time, which often suits modern wrists, and the condition of the dial is very good. The flush crown means that the watch is automatically wound only, so this does suit a more active person. The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour or material if preferred. The watch is signed on the dial, case, movement and buckle, but the buckle is likely a later addition.
This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.

From 1st September 2021 we will be planting a tree for every watch we sell, working with the International Tree Foundation (Est 1922) to make this business positive on carbon. By buying anything pre owned you are effectively reusing what already exists, but this takes it further and makes us feel good.
